As part of this role, your focus will span the entire development lifecycle, from concept through to volume production. You will be engaged in every aspect of the development process to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities
1. Design and develop power supply systems for telecoms radio products, considering factors such as efficiency, reliability, thermal management, and regulatory compliance.
2. Perform power budget analysis and optimization for the complete Radio product.
3. Design and develop Power Supply circuits and systems for telecom products, including DC-DC converters, EMI filters, Surge protectors, and Reverse Power protection circuits.
4. Select appropriate components and technologies for power supply implementations, considering cost and availability.
5. Conduct simulations and modeling to ensure the performance and stability of power supply designs.
6. Conduct testing and validation of power supply systems, identifying and addressing any issues during the development process.
7. Lead the product testing phases to regulatory standards including EMC, Surge, Safety, vibration, and Environmental.
8. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the PSU Design, including design specifications, debug guide, and user manuals.
9. Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure successful transfer of PSU designs into production.
10. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in PSU design to contribute innovative ideas to product development.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering or related fields.
* Over 8 years’ proven Industrial experience in PSU circuit design, with a focus on telecom Radio products.
* In-depth knowledge of power electronics, including DC-DC converters, voltage regulators, and power management circuits, EMI filter, Surge protection, and reverse power protection circuits.
* Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE) and design software for power electronics.
* Understanding of thermal management considerations in power supply design.
* Experience with power supply designs for outdoor and harsh environmental conditions.
* Proficiency in PCB layout and design for power electronics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
