Commercial Lawyer Job Description:



We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our Client. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.



Responsibilities for the Commercial Lawyer role:




\t
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and licensing agreements and more.

\t
* Advising clients on corporate governance and compliance issues.

\t
* Broad commercial contract experience including (but not limited to) advising on and preparing

\t
* Master service agreements, framework agreements, and other procurement-related contracts (including experience of working as a member of the project team on such matters, helping clients to identify risks and mitigate these appropriately)

\t
* Supply of goods and services

\t
* E-commerce contracts and related documentation;

\t
* Conducting due diligence and assisting with transactional matters.

\t
* Providing legal support and guidance on general corporate and commercial issues.

\t
* Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

\t
* Apportion your time between fee-earning, business development and supervising for junior members






Requirements for the Commercial Lawyer role:




\t
* Qualified solicitor CILEX or FILEX in England and Wales

\t
* 5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.

\t
* Strong knowledge of commercial contract law principles.

\t
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

\t
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

\t
* Experience working on cross-border transactions is a plus.
