We are looking to recruit an individual who can confidently and enthusiastically deliver outstanding student success through operational leadership and management of a team of staff including lecturers and business support staff. As a Vocational and Employability Tutor, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students.
Buckinghamshire College Group is a Further Education college with three campuses located in Aylesbury, Amersham and Wycombe. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment schedules that motivate students to achieve.
* Plan and deliver highly effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring students are stretched and challenged to reach their full potential.
* Address the individual needs of students and work creatively to overcome barriers to learning, both within and outside the classroom.
* Line manage a high-performing team of staff and support the team’s development through Personal Development Reviews, target setting, performance management and staff development.
* Deliver outstanding student success through operational leadership and management of a team of staff including lecturers and business support staff.
* Provide personalised guidance to students, helping them navigate their next steps across college by strengthening maths and English skills and developing problem solving, entrepreneurial thinking and study skills.

Training and Professional Development
Taking Teaching Further: The College engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education. You will be given full support to work towards fully qualified teacher status. While employed, you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can opt to move onto the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
