The Role We’re looking to hire a proactive Contract Manager to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of various contracts. Building relationships to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are attained consistently, whilst ensuring the service delivered achieves agreed levels of profitability. While this role is advertised for Uttlesford to support search optimisation, the position will also cover Saffron Walden - CB10 to CB11 to cover a wider geographic. What You’ll Do Client & stakeholder management: To work in partnership with our clients to exceed operational and business expectations. Reporting: Monitoring and owning the financial aspects of each contract and reporting back on its progress, performance and profitability. People leadership: Manage a team of Contract Supervisors / Supervisors and liaise with Administrators and Resident Liaison Officers to ensure contractual expectations are met along with responsibility for the mentoring and development of employees. Compliance: Follow and support policies, procedures, initiatives and work instructions related to sustainability improvement and environmental compliance. H&S Leadership: Monitor the quality, safety and possible environmental implications to promote a safety culture within your team. Quality/Material Management: Ensuring equipment used/ordered and manage the correct use of equipment to all reporting staff to ensure the accurate and correct capture of information is achieved. Requirements Essential Demonstrable success as a Contract Manager within the repairs and maintenance services. Excellent Commercial Knowledge of Excellent Management Skills (clients, subcontractors, Surveyors, Suppliers and schedulers) with clear, confident communication alongside the ability to motivate teams at all levels. IT literate. Full UK driving licence.
