Management Accountant - Construction (CIS Essential) Office Based Your new company A leading construction business is looking for a hands‑on Management Accountant to take ownership of day‑to‑day finance activity and deliver accurate reporting. This role suits someone proactive, detail‑driven and confident working independently. Your new role Manage POPs & SOPs Process and chase supplier invoices Enter petty cash and supplier transactions Prepare and run supplier payments Process payroll & post wage journals Administer pensions Prepare and submit monthly CIS Produce cash flow forecasts & monthly P&L Analyse costs and identify savings Complete VAT returns & bank reconciliations Assess credit applications & complete company checks Manage stock control Prepare product, factory and project costings Support project financial tracking Assist with system updates & daily backups What you'll need to succeed 5 years’ experience in a Management Accountant role Construction sector background – essential Strong CIS knowledge – mandatory Confident user of Sage Line 50 Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) High accuracy and strong organisational skills Comfortable working independently and managing multiple deadlines What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
