Responsibilities
* Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants, but you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!
* Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.
* Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

The people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities. Let us introduce you to Brenda: Brenda needs a dedicated staff team to support her to live the best life possible. Brenda enjoys getting out in the car, spending days at the beach, people watching, simply going for a drive around the local community or going out for meals. A typical day for Brenda can vary and she may wish to remain at home, completing jigsaws, playing board games or having a pamper night with her staff. Brenda has complex needs and at times struggles with enjoying life’s `simple pleasures` without a dedicated staff team who know her needs well and are committed to supporting her. Brenda receives support 7 days a week from 10am to 10am including overnight support.
