Job Description
Due to growth, we seek an experienced Project Manager with a background in utilities or infrastructure to lead schemes involving new Energy Centres and Heating Network Upgrades in Wolverhampton.
The role involves preparing and managing project delivery plans, ensuring safety, managing staff, coordinating with commercial teams, and overseeing project progress and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) initiatives, ensuring compliance and reporting.
2. Manage staffing, communication, and team morale.
3. Ensure contract and project scope adherence, including change management and customer approvals.
4. Collaborate with senior management and clients to set and monitor project objectives.
5. Oversee site management, resource planning, and subcontractor coordination.
6. Manage team performance, conduct reviews, and handle HR matters.
7. Review designs, specifications, and technical compliance.
8. Regularly review overall project progress and quality standards.
Qualifications
* Level 7 construction-related qualification (NVQ) and/or professional membership.
* Proven success in delivering projects from start to finish.
* Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, or equivalent.
* Ability to control costs and ensure quality delivery.
* Strong team management and resource allocation skills.
* Knowledge of document management systems, BIM, etc.
* Temporary works certification (desirable).
* Valid driving license.
