About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. You should have technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and ideally some IT skills. When communicating with residents or co-workers, kindness and consideration are essential.
Your responsibilities include ensuring residents live in a well-maintained environment through proactive inspections and record-keeping. Tasks may involve replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating, always with kindness as a priority.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the procedures for reporting concerns. Attendance at safeguarding training is mandatory, along with additional role-specific training.
