What you will do
* Assess and treat patients by prescribing, designing, and fitting external braces and supports to improve mobility, reduce pain, and correct or manage physical conditions.
* Collaborate with a wider team of healthcare professionals to support patient rehabilitation and foster independence.
* Conduct thorough evaluations and maintain meticulous patient records to ensure the best outcomes.
* Provide education and guidance to patients and their families about the use and care of orthotic devices.
Requirements
* Qualifications: BSc Honours Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics or an equivalent recognised qualification.
* Registration: HCPC registration is essential for this role.
* Membership: Membership in the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO) is required.
* Experience: Previous experience in a community setting is desirable to ensure effective service delivery.
* Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for community visits.
