Join Our Team as a Female Support Worker
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Salary: £13.00 per hour (£25,350 per annum) plus benefits: paid induction; overtime paid over 37.5 contracted hours
Hours: 7.00 am – 3.00 pm, 2.00 pm – 10.00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, shifts may vary due to the needs of the people supported)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Driving Requirement: A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.
Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer skilled worker visas.
Essential Criteria
To be considered, you will demonstrate experience in at least two of the following areas:
* Behaviours that challenge
* Autism and learning disabilities
* Positive Behaviour Support
About You
Are you someone who enjoys making a difference? Do you have a calm, caring, and resilient nature? If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for individuals who can stay calm under pressure, are enthusiastic, proactive, and comfortable handling challenging behaviours. A manual UK driving license and comfort with driving alternative vehicles are also required.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Female Support Worker, you will:
* Assist with daily care and support: personal care, meal prep, medication, and daily tasks.
* Build relationships: understand the needs of those you support and help them live independently.
* Empower independence: support personal goals and encourage exploration.
* Support social engagement: participate in activities, outings, and hobbies.
* Ensure respect and dignity: treat individuals and families with respect and equality.
Who You Will Be Supporting
Support individuals with diverse interests, including activities like painting, feeding animals, sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and exploring new places. Please note, real names are changed to protect confidentiality.
