We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to assist in the day-to-day operation of our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, used by undergraduates to develop practical skills alongside theoretical learning. The role involves preparing labs for student exercises, ensuring test equipment functions correctly, supporting students and staff with technical queries, and maintaining resource stocks.
Candidates should have a background in a technical or engineering role, with qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 3, ONC/OND, or HNC/HND. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Practical skills, enthusiasm, proactivity, and self-motivation are highly valued.
