Job Description
To support the production and dispatch of customer orders while maintaining adherence to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced team to unpack and organize stock with accuracy.
2. Fulfill all orders to the highest standard.
3. Unload deliveries and maintain accurate stock records.
4. Prepare wholesale orders for delivery in cooperation with the wholesale team.
5. Pick and scan orders accurately using RF guns.
6. Minimize missed sales and losses through precise picking.
7. Keep the work area clean and tidy, ensuring general maintenance of the warehouse floor.
8. Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in approach to work.
9. Ensure adequate supply of products in pick locations by building and packing out pick locations.
10. Promptly communicate any stock issues to the Stock Department for quick resolution.
11. Meet team targets and ensure all procedures are followed.
12. Report any concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
13. Suggest improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
14. Maintain a safe working environment in line with the company's H&S policy.
15. Act professionally and courteously as an ambassador for the company.
Essential Criteria:
16. Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English.
17. Experience working in a warehouse environment.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
19. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
20. Strong planning and organizational skills.
21. Physical and manual dexterity.
22. Ability to work on own initiative.
23. Demonstrated use of continuous improvement techniques.
24. Results-oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure.
Desirable Criteria:
25. NVQ in Warehouse Management.
26. Experience using voice picking units.
27. Organized and efficient.
