Stores Coordinator – Head Office S43 3JT
Mission - Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the engineering stores. Provide a professional service to all customers by checking in goods, maintaining adequate stock levels, and ensuring timely dispatch to sites. Support the wider business by working closely with key departments to meet company objectives.
Responsibilities
* Stock management – consignment and non-consignment.
* Ensure sufficient stock levels are available to maintain business objectives.
* Agreeing holding figures
* Effective planning and ordering replenishment.
* Invoicing / pricing & associated admin.
* Assembly and distribution of engineering kits.
* Raising Purchase Orders (PO) following company process.
* Action POs to Service Level Agreements.
* Coordinate third party haulage/courier contractors including managing admin.
* Maintain field engineer van stock through regular replenishments.
* Control of warehousing equipment and stocking levels.
* Fulfil advisory role to other departments including scheduling/project engineer support with ordering and availability, procurement support for new and existing products and general support.
* Equipment calibration management, Coordinate returning equipment to supplier/calibration contractors and return to the field.
* Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) Management, Coordinate distribution of PRVs in line with inspection requirements under PSSR, ensure sufficient stock and organise refurbishment returns.
* Follow and abide by all procedures and policies relating to the Engineering Document Management System (EDMS).
* Manual handling in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Engineering ad hoc tasks
* Occasionally delivering parts to sites using company van.
* Assisting Engineers on sites as and when required.

* Working within a matrix organisation, reporting to Engineering Customer Services Manager.
Profile
Functional:
* Experience of stores management or similar preferred.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Good level of general education, articulate and numerate.
* Strong computer literacy in the use of Microsoft packages specifically Excel & Word, use of JDE desirable although training can be provided.
* Ability to understand legislation relating to the role.

* A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
* Effective verbal & written communication skills across all levels of the business.
* Good planning ability and organisational ability.
* Ability to understand the technical requirements for our products and services.
