St Luke’s has a vacancy for a Bank Night Support Worker based at St Luke’s Hospice in Turnchapel, Plymouth. Our Night Supporter Workers work from 1700-2200, Monday to Sunday, and this position will work on an ad hoc basis covering shifts that become available due to planned and occurring absence.
As a Night Support Worker, you will meet and greet all visitors to the Hospice, receive and deal with incoming calls, take any messages and post, support the clinical teams who remain in the building with ad hoc operational issues and ensure the building is secure overnight.
You will support the teams in creating a welcoming environment for all who visit and work in the Hospice, ensuring that our values are reflected, and high standards of professional courtesy are maintained.
Applicants must have relevant experience in a similar role, excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. Applicants should also have great people skills.
