Manage EMEA equity borrow/loan lifecycle, collateral, exceptions, and partner with traders.
As a Trading Services Associate within the Stock Borrow Loan team, your main function will be to facilitate and control the end to end life cycle of Equity Borrow / Loan activity in EMEA. You will be working with external counterparties & traders on a day-to-day basis. You will manage regulatory reporting, client onboarding, and collateral (cash and stock), and you will control and clear all exceptions and cash flows generated across the trade lifecycle.
Job responsibilities
1. Performs daily collateral exposure management
2. Manages counterparty relationships
3. Supports the daily requirements of the SBL Front Office
4. Liaises with clients, counterparties and traders to investigate & resolves any trade exceptions
5. Reconciliates & investigates all key controls within the trade life-cycle
6. Produces daily metrics in relation to key risk and performance indicators
7. Updates senior management
8. Checks daily processes to ensure all intra-day and close of business requirements are covered
9. Supports the team manager
10. Is first point of escalation within the team
