Job Objective
The Sales Professional makes the client’s need his / her primary focus. He /she is strives to establish client relationships, listening to clients to anticipate their needs and takes personal responsibility for the client’s requests. The sales professional is very knowledgeable about Company merchandise and remains continuously up to date as new products are introduced. The incumbent strives to create a good impression and delivers memorable service to clients.
Responsibilities
Dresses appropriately, in a professional and well-groomed manner
Welcomes clients and provides information on the showroom’s products
Maintains a professional attitude and mannerism at all times and always conducts business with integrity
Builds and maintains client book and alert clients to upcoming events and new products
Complies with all Company’s guidelines, policies and procedures as outlined in the Showroom’s Operations manual
Offers assistance to and builds effective working relationships with team members
Turns clients over to another member of the team as required to best serve the client’s needs and close a sale
Organizes merchandise and displays accordingly in order to optimize sales and minimize shrinkage

Required to stand up for long periods of time
May be required to lift packages / boxes
Working Conditions and Environment
Schedule flexibility and availability required to accommodate showroom hours, including evenings and weekends

Education
* High School Diploma
Experience
* 1 year retail sales experience

* Good client service and selling skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Good organizational skills
* Teamwork
* Able to multitask in a fast paced environment
* Computer literate (MS Office)
