Job description
Wye School is part of United Learning, a group of schools aiming to offer a life-changing education across England. Schools within United Learning work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. With a shared curriculum and lesson plans available to all, our teachers have strong foundations to deliver engaging, rounded education. The shared curriculum includes assessment support for across-group moderation.
Wye School opened in September 2013 with Year 7 students and has delivered excellent GCSE results, followed by strong GCSE and A Level outcomes. We are a mixed comprehensive school. Ofsted praised our 'very vibrant and strong leadership' and our 'high level of ambition for students and the school.' We are over-subscribed and seek teachers committed to challenging and supporting outstanding progress for every student.
We are looking to expand our dedicated and dynamic teaching team. We seek a Teacher of Science capable of teaching to GCSE level, with A Level Chemistry as a bonus, but all science specialisms are welcome.
We welcome applications from candidates with varying experience levels, including ECTs. We offer a strong ECT induction program and extensive training opportunities for more experienced teachers through United Learning.
Applications will be considered upon receipt. Suitable candidates will be interviewed early, and the position may be withdrawn if an early appointment is made.
