About the Role
At HC‑One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team at Sedgley Court, where our focus is always on delivering the highest quality service. As a Care Assistant, you’ll take responsibility for the physical, emotional and social well‑being of our residents. This includes assisting with personal care activities such as washing, dressing, personal hygiene and meals, as well as supporting general activities within the home. You’ll provide care that truly comes from the heart — ensuring residents never lose their dignity or individuality.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in adult social care. You must be able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
