We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw Campus to join our Student Experience and Support Department as a Recruitment and Outreach Co-ordinator on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis.

Site Information

Our Openshaw campus is a vibrant, modern hub of learning, equipped with outstanding, industry-standard facilities designed to inspire both staff and students. Located just outside Manchester city centre, the campus offers a wide range of vocational and academic courses, with specialist spaces for areas such as construction, engineering, health, and digital.

Who are TMC?

The Manchester College is the Largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16-19yrs olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester. We are part of the LTE group that consist of MOL, Total People, UCEN Manchester, Novus, and LTE Group Operations. We currently support more than 25% of Greater Manchester’s learning provision and are currently rated “Good” by Ofsted. Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

7. Achieved or willingness to work towards a Level 3 Advice & Guidance qualification.
8. Level 2 Maths and English.
9. Able to demonstrate a strong customer service background.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
12. Excellent presentation skills.
13. Ability to work effectively in cross college teams and establish positive relationships.
14. Ability to foster a culture of positive teamwork.
15. Strong self-management skills to effectively manage calendars, delegated tasks, and workload.
16. Aptitude for data handling and analysis skills.
17. Strong IT skills.
18. Access to a vehicle and a valid driving licence is required for this post.
19. Applicants must be flexible and prepared to work mornings, evenings and occasional weekends for outreach and recruitment events.
20. Applicants must be willing to travel to outreach and recruitment events across Greater Manchester and occasionally outside of Greater Manchester.

All applicants will be required to undergo an appropriate DBS check via the Criminal Records Bureau and may be subject to additional online checks as part of our pre-screening process.
