The Test Technician will:
1. Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and modifications of devices and subassemblies working from intricate mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, established repair and test procedures, and written or verbal instructions.
2. Complete in a timely and accurate fashion all required production forms, test reports, customer documentation, departmental and other company documentation, using related SAP transactions and other data entry tools.
3. Adhere to production schedules, key performance indicators, lead times, departmental and company goals.
4. Assist in the resolution of technical issues. Provide information and feedback to supporting personnel for problem identification and resolution leading to product/process improvement.
5. Contribute to service growth by offering ideas and techniques to build competence for repairs, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure optimal availability of customer devices.
6. Participate in company sponsored training, continuous improvement, departmental training activity, and attend educational seminars as required.
7. Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
Your Qualifications
Education: Associates Degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical field.
Related Experience: 2+ years experience in an industrial service environment with demonstrated proficiency at troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical devices.
