A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a warm, enthusiastic Level 2/Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and well-established early years setting in Chelmsford. This is a part-time role across Monday to Friday, ideal for those seeking a flexible working pattern.
About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children aged 0–5 and help create a positive, engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
Supporting and delivering activities based on the EYFS
Observing and contributing to children’s development
Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development
Following safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures
Working collaboratively within a supportive team
What We’re Looking For
To be successful, you will need:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare
A genuine passion for early education
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A nurturing, proactive and positive approach
Availability to work part-time hours Monday to Friday
