The Role
* Teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to deliver A-Level PE or BTEC Sport for candidates with relevant academic experience.
* Coaching and leading school teams in core sports (such as Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Cricket, or Athletics) across a busy mid-week and Saturday fixture list.
* Planning and delivering structured, high-energy lessons that leverage effective group management and motivational reinforcement.
* Contributing to the school’s extensive co-curricular program, including evening training sessions and domestic/international sports tours.
* Monitoring student physical development and executing tailored programs to support both elite performers and participation-level athletes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching and coaching within the independent sector.
* A strong degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated success in coaching at a high level, with the ability to umpire or referee competitive fixtures.
* A professional, tenacious, and highly methodical approach to both classroom instruction and pitch-side management.
* Competency in using digital platforms for performance analysis and departmental administration.
* A commitment to the full life of a boarding or day school, including pastoral duties and weekend commitments.
