IT Analyst - Project Support - Farnborough

The Role: We are seeking a motivated individual for the dual role of IT Analyst & PMO in our UK IT team. This role combines technical expertise with project management to ensure smooth IT operations and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Administration: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, manage IT infrastructure (servers, networks, workstations), install and configure OS, applications, security systems, monitor system performance, enforce IT policies, and ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested.
Project Support: Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects, develop project documentation, track progress, identify risks, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to improving project management processes.
Skills and Experience:
Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
1-2 years in a technical support role.
Strong understanding of hardware, software, and networking.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Customer service skills and understanding of mobile OS (Android, iOS, Windows).
Desirable:
Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux.
Knowledge of ITIL framework.
Security Vetting clearance to SC level or ability to obtain it.
