Field Service Engineer - CCTV, Access Control & Security Systems
Location: Leeds
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Travel: Regional travel with occasional overnight stays required

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a leading security systems integrator delivering advanced electronic security solutions across the UK. This is a field-based position covering Stoke, Leeds, and Manchester, working on a wide range of CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Detection, and Integrated Security Systems for commercial, public sector, and critical infrastructure clients. You\'ll be responsible for maintenance, fault-finding, servicing, and reactive repairs on large-scale, high-end integrated systems, ensuring our clients\' sites remain secure, compliant, and operational. This role offers a varied workload, exposure to the latest security technologies, and opportunities for training and career progression within a growing engineering team.
Responsibilities
* Carry out preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service calls on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Security Systems.
* Diagnose and repair faults across analogue, IP, and network-based security systems.
* Service and maintain equipment including DVRs, NVRs, network switches, and control room systems.
* Provide technical support for perimeter intrusion detection, gates, and barrier systems.
* Complete service reports, update job management systems, and maintain accurate documentation.
* Deliver an excellent standard of customer service and communication at all times.
* Participate in the on-call rota and work flexibly, including occasional nights away.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
Skills & Experience
* Essential:
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, Security Systems Engineer, or CCTV Engineer.
* Strong technical knowledge of CCTV systems (analogue and IP), Access Control systems (multi-site and site mustering), and Intruder Alarm Systems.
* Understanding of Networking and IP configuration.
* Ability to diagnose and repair electronic security faults on-site.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and customer-facing skills.
