The Role:
This is a rare chance to take your first steps onto the developer side of the property world. Working closely with both the Land Director and Planning Director, you'll be involved in a wide range of responsibilities across live and pipeline care development projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience from the outset, with a strong support system to help you learn and progress quickly. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the planning process for new and existing care home developments.
* Assisting with site assessments, appraisals, and due diligence.
* Helping to prepare and submit planning applications.
* Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and external stakeholders.
* Tracking project progress and maintain key planning documents.
* Learning from experienced directors and contribute to team decision-making.
Requirements:
* A keen interest in planning and development.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* Relevant academic background (planning, property, geography, or similar).
* A full UK driving licence.
* Some experience (internship or junior role) in planning, land, or property.
* Knowledge of UK planning policy and development process.
