The role
Job Description As a Technical Surveyor at UKTC, you will play a crucial role in our fire resistance testing operations. You will witness specimen installations to verify their dimensions, materials, and construction methods, producing detailed 'as built' CAD drawings and component schedules that form part of subsequent fire test reports. Key Responsibilities: Review clients' drawings and bill of materials prior to installation to ensure sufficient information for conducting surveys Liaise with Technical Officers and clients to obtain and clarify information and drawings Conduct accurate surveys of specimens, recording details and verifying them against client-provided information through measurements and photographs Produce elevation and section drawings, component schedules, and written descriptions of test specimens Utilize AutoCAD LT, Microsoft Office, and internal systems Provide training to colleagues in surveying roles when required
