Location: High Holborn, London (with regular travel across London)
We’re seeking a talented Account Manager to join our Dual Management team at Abbatt, covering a 12-month maternity leave.
This role is ideal for someone with Area Manager experience in retail or hospitality, especially if you are experienced in managing multiple sites, leading teams with energy and empathy, and providing excellent service to clients and internal teams.
About the Role
As part of our outsourced staffing solution for property managers, you will oversee on-site staff across multiple residential buildings in London. Your responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, support, employee relations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
You will be based in High Holborn but will regularly visit sites to support staff and meet clients. The role combines HR, operations, account management, and client services.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing staffing at high-end residential properties
* Conducting regular site visits to support staff and maintain morale
* Leading recruitment, inductions, training, and appraisals
* Handling employee relations and retention strategies (with HR support)
* Performing Health & Safety checks and ensuring compliance
Client Relationship Management
* Serving as the main contact for your client portfolio
* Attending service review meetings and preparing performance reports
* Resolving service issues promptly and implementing improvements
Operational & Project Support
* Implementing and managing new staffing contracts
* Managing rotas to ensure site coverage, especially during peak times
* Collaborating with recruitment teams to source talent
* Supporting temporary staffing needs
* Assisting with payroll and invoicing
Business Development & Representation
* Representing Abbatt Dual Management at networking and client events
* Promoting our services to new and existing contacts
What We’re Looking For
* Previous multi-site people management experience, preferably in retail or hospitality
* A natural relationship-builder with a passion for service excellence
* Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
* Some knowledge of HR processes, employee relations, or Health & Safety (training provided)
* Organized, confident, and a strong communicator
* Knowledge of scheduling or HR software is a plus
