Last Mile or “In Country Logistics” starts when a material becomes assigned to a specific Project/Customer and when it has arrived at the agreed first point (based on Incoterms) after leaving Ericsson Supply HUB (ESH). The purpose of the role of the Last Mile Logistics Lead is to have E2E accountability and responsibility for the HW logistics withing the Last Mile. The scope of the role will also cover Inventory Management including decision making on materials in the National Warehouse and in the Field.
As Last Mile Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining Order plan based on the project rollout/delivery schedule, material availability in local WH and in the Field, already open orders and supply Lead times.
* FG Management (vs target + decisions & action follow up) – per project or per delivery model (Bulk or Box-In-Box-Out)
* WIP Management (vs plan + decisions & action follow up) – per project or per delivery model (Bulk or Box-In-Box-Out)
* Inventory management decisions include but are not limited to: re-badging, returns, buyback, scraping etc. The expectation from the Last Mile Logistics Lead is to drive the optimal decisions based on the cost-benefit analysis.
* Final Mile (from the NWH to customer/site) Governance including KPI definition (per project and/or delivery model) and tracking + action identification and follow up.
What you will do
As a Last Mile Logistics Lead, you will work with the team to develop and maintain the processes you will be ultimately accountable for:
* Ordering 3PP equipment
* PO and GR process with cost breakdown verification to pay for the National Warehouse and/or other Final Mile WHs
* Outbound Logistics to Customer/site
* Inbound Logistics to ASP/Project WH
* On-the-day Support
* Dead on Arrival (DOA)
You will own the relationship and the process handover points with:
* Supply (Handshake on the Handover from First to Last Mile, Lead Times, understanding of the impact of OA date change on Inventory Landing position and Delivery plan etc.)
* Projects including KAM, COM, NPD, CPM, MCO etc. (Forecast from Customer and translation into Delivery & Order Plans, up-to-date delivery schedule etc.)
* As a E2E responsible you may be a first point of contact/escalation for the customer/s when a logistics related issue arises
