Here at GXO Peterborough, we are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our transport team supporting one of our new business win with M&S!
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an any 5 days form 7 pattern, with start time at 06:00 or 18:00. Choose what suits you best!

As a Class 1 Driver, youll get:
* An hourly rate of £17.43
* A 15% shift premium, for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00

What you will do on a typical day:
* Carry out a mix of single and multidrop deliveries (typically up to 2 drops per shift) across England and Wales, collecting returns and equipment from stores as required, with no nights out
* Handle totes, rails and occasional pallets, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
* Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
* Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner??????? while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
* Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
* Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
* No more than 6 current penalty points
* No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
