Weston Hospicecare is looking for a Lottery Fundraiser to help grow our weekly lottery — a vital and sustainable source of income that directly supports local patients and families. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing our lottery programme, supporting our canvassers, and delivering excellent donor stewardship. You’ll join a friendly, passionate Fundraising Team who are committed to raising the funds needed to provide outstanding hospice care to the community. Key Responsibilities Building positive relationships with lottery players – provide a warm welcome for new lottery players and communicate with existing ones to support fundraising efforts. Organise community venues for canvassing – Book and coordinate space in community venues and at events for canvassing activity. Promote the lottery – Collaborate with our Communications Team to create engaging promotional materials for the Lottery. Represent the hospice in the community – Promote the work of Weston Hospicecare through excellent donor care and positive interaction with suppliers. What We’re Looking For Experience in fundraising or building relationships with donors/customers Confident using IT systems, databases and Microsoft Office Experience of communicating with a wide range of audiences A proactive, collaborative, team-oriented approach Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles. A full driving licence or ability to travel across our catchment area is desirable. Why Join Us?
