My client in Newquay, Cornwall, are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Chef de Partie to join their highly motivated kitchen teamCandidates must have:- Extensive knowledge of health and safety procedures for kitchens and food preparation areas- Excellent attention to detail- Exceptional time management skills- Ability to work autonomously, but also with a team- A food hygiene certificate or any food handling or preparation qualification- Ability to calculate costs and manage a budget- Display and demonstrate your qualities with enthusiasm and in a calmly manner- Have a competent understanding of cooking fresh produce and accurately prepare and deliver food as it is meant to be served in a timely manner- Assist Chef with the ordering of specific provisions for your area- You will also have the opportunity to have some input on the menusThis is a full time permanent position offering an hourly rate of £13.50- £14.00 per hour + TIPSTo apply please submit your CV with relevant experience or give Steph a call at Winners Recruitment, Truro for more information
