About the Role | Who are we looking for?
We are recruiting an experienced Technical Author to join our team. This is primarily an office-based role within our West Sussex Head Office, reporting to our Engineering Director, the successful candidate will:
1. Create product documentation including but not limited to user manuals, web-based help guides, workflow videos, and other material aimed at increasing the level of knowledge in our userbase as well as minimising the reliance on our engineering and support teams. You will handle the creation of various documentation materials through hands-on exploration of our products, collaboration with engineers and other internal subject matter experts including product managers.
2. Gather and create technical documentation as needed for Product Engineering and the hardware certification process.
3. Collaborate across all departments to create comprehensive 7thSense documentation which will be consumed by internal and external users to allow them to help themselves and learn on their own and at their own pace.
4. Follow the product lifecycle closely and ensure that all documentation and other information is up to date.
