Reception Teacher
September 2026 StartChatham, Kent | Full-Time | Permanent Position
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Chatham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and inspiring start to children's education.
The Role:
* Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
* Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively
* Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
* Contributing positively to the wider school community
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within EYFS or Reception is desirable
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Passion for early years education and child development
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
