Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to inspire young learners and make a real impact in the classroom?
We are looking for a motivated and creative Year 1 Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Liverpool (L6). This is a supportive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, and where ECTs are given the guidance and resources to thrive.
The Role
1. Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
2. Start Date: January
This position is ideal for ECTs who are eager to develop their skills in a welcoming, forward-thinking school.
Key Responsibilities
3. Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 1 across the Primary Curriculum.
4. Support pupils’ academic and personal development through creative teaching.
5. Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
6. Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
7. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and calmly.
8. Collaborate with staff and parents to support pupil success.
What We’re Looking For
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS.
10. Strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum, particularly for Key Stage 1.
11. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
12. Creative, reflective, and adaptable approach to teaching.
13. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
