Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000.

Structured Work Hours: Work 40 hours a week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Your Day-to-Day
Forget emergency callouts and unpredictable shifts! Your day starts with a clear digital schedule, and each job is pre-booked with the member expecting you. You’ll be responsible for:
* Routine servicing
* Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
* In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
* Providing member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
* Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With SMR, you’ll have the time, tools, and support to deliver quality work without the stress of reactive breakdowns.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
