We're seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a supportive SEN school in Waltham Cross. This is a key role where your work directly supports the safety, wellbeing, and smooth running of the entire school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Securing the site (opening/locking up daily)
* Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance, and general DIY tasks
* Supporting with decorating and displays
* Handling deliveries and general porter duties
* Conducting regular health & safety checks
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards both inside and outside the school
What We're Looking For:
* An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
* A full UK Driving Licence
* Previous experience in a caretaker or premises role (school experience preferred)
* A can-do attitude, great communication skills, and a flexible, reliable approach
* Willingness to work on a rota including evenings and occasional weekends
