Children and Young People Project Sustainability Manager
Full-time (35 hours) Fixed term 3 years
We are launching a major diocesan initiative to invest in children and young people, supporting up to 22 parish‑based projects. To help ensure these roles and ministries thrive long‑term, we are seeking a Sustainability / Business Manager to work with parishes to build financial and people sustainability.
About The Role
* Support parishes to develop fundraising strategies and sustainability plans
* Identify and prepare grant funding applications
* Deliver training on fundraising and volunteer development
* Monitor funding progress across all project posts
* Share best practice and ensure compliance with fundraising and data regulations
* Work closely with diocesan teams, clergy, volunteers, and project staff
About You
* Proven experience in fundraising and successful grant applications
* Strong organisational, financial planning, and communication skills
* Experience working with volunteers or community groups
* Integrity, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships
* An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the Church of England context
* Flexibility to travel across the Diocese and work occasional evenings/weekends
