General Summary:
The Revenue Senior Accountant II focuses on accounting for the company's product revenues, including gross to net liabilities and accounts receivable. Responsibilities include month-end close activities, coordination with finance distributor teams and third-party in-country distributors to ensure accurate accounts receivable and customer support. The role involves participating in projects such as automation and data analytics initiatives.
Position Summary:
The role supports the Revenue Accounting Manager and the Distributor region to Business Partner in preparing revenue accounting journal entries, aligning with forecast assumptions, group reporting, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. It also involves financial controls, general ledger reconciliations, SOX compliance, and supporting audits.
Success depends on maintaining strong relationships with managers and international business partners to accurately reflect market, reimbursement, forecast, and contract data in revenue accounting.
You are organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of prioritizing multiple deadlines, managing month and quarter-end close activities across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:
* Build trust and open communication with Revenue Accounting Managers, global teams, and stakeholders.
* Perform month-end close activities, including:
o Preparation of gross to net revenue journal entries
o Analysis and resolution of gross to net account variances
o Forecast analysis for accruals
o Revenue recognition journal entries
o Support early revenue estimation processes
o Reconciliation of revenue accounts
o Review of AR reporting and reconciliation to accounting systems
o Quarterly pharma fee submissions
* Ensure first-time accuracy in month-end activities, providing timely insights on revenue implications of new products, contracts, and agreements.
* Monitor reimbursement agreements for compliance and revenue recognition.
* Prepare reports for group, internal, and external stakeholders, including audits and SEC disclosures.
* Drive process improvements and simplification initiatives.
Education:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Big 4 experience is advantageous.
Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge of US GAAP revenue accounting is a plus.
* Experience in a service-oriented, multinational shared service environment preferred.
* Strong technical accounting skills and stakeholder communication abilities.
* Proactive, adaptable, and detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Oracle R12, OBIEE, HFM, and SMART View is beneficial.
