Teacher Active is working with an Alternative Learning Provision in Swindon to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. The setting supports vulnerable young people who have exited mainstream education, focusing on successful reintegration and transition to post-16 education. The role involves delivering social, emotional, physical, and mental health-centred programmes to help students thrive.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience supporting vulnerable young people and/or working with students with SEMH and challenging behaviours.
* Level 2 or 3 CACHE qualification or equivalent is preferred.
* Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications are desirable.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work across Key Stages 3 and 4, demonstrating organisation, confidence, and a proactive approach to support students' individual needs.
