Now, we’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Accommodation Night Worker to join our team in Ipswich. Job Role Accommodation Night Workers play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our residents, staff, and premises. We offer a range of contracted shifts between 36 and 40 hours per week, which may include waking nights depending on the team you support. Night shifts follow a 4 nights on / 4 nights off rotation, and the schedule includes weekends and public holidays. Job Purpose: To maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for residents and staff during night hours, while supporting the Accommodation Project Workers in managing admissions and minimizing disruption. Key Responsibilities: Ensure designated areas are clean, secure, and safe Assist with the admittance of residents and staff Help maintain a calm environment by minimizing noise and disruption Respond effectively to incidents and support residents as needed What We’re Looking For The successful applicant will have: Experience working with young people with complex needs (not necessarily in a housing context). The ability to interact effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, particularly during unsociable hours.
