Department: Digital and Technology Responsible To (Job Title): Lead Developer Location: Gloucester Head Office Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum Main Purpose: To support the development team by thoroughly testing web development tickets and identifying bugs before deployment. This role ensures timely, reliable QA feedback for all site improvements and new features—ultimately protecting revenue, reducing delays, and improving development throughput. QA Analyst responsibilities: * Manually test website features, bug fixes, and updates prior to deployment. * Collaborate with developers during ticket reviews to understand requirements and edge cases. * Perform cross-browser and device testing to ensure functionality across platforms. * Log bugs, track issues, and document QA outcomes using internal systems. * Conduct regression testing to prevent previously resolved bugs from reappearing. * Support performance and user acceptance testing (UAT) for releases. * Work closely with developers to align QA processes with development cycles. * Help reduce time between development and go-live by enabling rapid feedback loops.
