Senior Compliance Analyst – International Law Firm (London)A prestigious international law firm is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join its London office. This is a newly created position within a small, collaborative Risk & Compliance team that plays a key role in managing regulatory obligations across the firm’s global operations.About the Role:This is a hands-on role focused on client due diligence (CDD) and broader anti-money laundering (AML) compliance. You’ll lead risk-based reviews for new and existing clients and matters, support the transition to a new AML records platform, and act as a key point of contact for junior analysts — overseeing their workload and providing quality assurance.You’ll report to senior compliance leaders in London and collaborate closely with colleagues in the firm’s US headquarters.Key Responsibilities:Conducting CDD reviews and risk assessments in line with AML policiesMonitoring active matters and updating CDD recordsAllocating and managing junior analysts’ workloadProviding guidance and feedback to junior team membersAdvising lawyers and assistants on AML complianceSupporting internal audits, investigations, and reportingMaintaining accurate compliance documentationCandidate Profile:4+ years’ experience in a compliance or risk role within an SRA-regulated law firmStrong working knowledge of AML, sanctions, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption lawsProven experience conducting CDD reviews, including high-risk casesAbility to manage and mentor junior team membersExcellent communication, organisation, and attention to detailCompliance certification (e.g., CAMS, ICA Diploma) is highly desirableFamiliarity with Elite, Orbis, and World-Check systemsWhy Apply?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded firm with a strong international presence and a reputation for excellence.
