Academics are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Richmond, starting in September 2025. The school are looking for a Teaching assistant who is able to have a positive impact and give classroom support to both teachers and pupils in KS1 and to help towards their development.
Location: Primary school in RichmondStart Date: September 2025Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to FridaySalary: £90-£110 (Dependent on experience)
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
* Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and help them reach their potential.
* Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Help with supervision during break times and school trips.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential).
* A positive, proactive, and flexible approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
