Senior Physiotherapist (Bank) – Haywards Heath Hospital
Bank contract, ad hoc, with weekend work. Up to £24 per hour, depending on experience.
Role Overview
As a Senior Physiotherapist you will be posted to the inpatient service on weekends, with opportunities for additional afternoon/evening outpatient work depending on experience and availability. The position is within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPs and Consultants, supporting the health and recovery of patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality, evidence‑based clinical care.
* Ensure ongoing monitoring of treatment standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes.
* Adhere to professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and to Nuffield Health values.
* Provide supervision and support to other physiotherapy staff where required.
* Use IT competently and maintain accurate documentation and records.
Essential Qualifications
* BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
* Demonstrated experience in physiotherapy with excellent rehabilitation skills.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients and the wider healthcare team.
* Competent IT user with organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and CPD participation.
