Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to maintain and repair installations such as ventilation systems (AHU, intake/extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.), and water system assets, such as booster sets, calorifiers, and water heaters. You should be capable of delivering the highest level of service for the client, answering queries, reporting any defects, and keeping them informed of site activities at the time of the service visit. You will also be required to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping a log of inspection reports and remedial work.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair ventilation systems (AHU, intake/extract).
* Maintain and repair heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.).
* Maintain and repair water system assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters).
* Provide excellent service, answer queries, report defects, and inform clients of site activities during visits.
* Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time; keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Valid full driving licence; IT literate.
* Ability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
* Good verbal and written communication; ability to use a mobile device.
* Experience in a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment (preferred).
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., City and Guilds).
* Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
Contract and Benefits
Fixed term 12 month contract; salary negotiable.
