As a qualified motor industry technician, you will utilize your knowledge to examine vehicles, components and trade premises, producing condition reports and providing technical feedback on your findings.
This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based vehicle technicians to join our rapidly growing team.

1. Salary: £36,180 with an exceptional career progression plan
2. Full time hours with opportunities for overtime, paid at 1.5x hourly rate
3. Work pattern of 35-hours weekly, Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm
4. Holiday allowance of 23 days (rising to 25 with service) + bank holidays

You're a friendly face. One of the best things about this job? You're not a faceless worker in a garage. You'll be interacting with customers at every appointment - answering questions, giving advice and representing the RAC.
You love variety. You'll be carrying out a range of work, in different locations with our customers, no day being the same, a a refreshing change from garage work.
You can think on your feet. We trust our mechanics & technicians to make the best decisions for our customers. You'll be dealing with a variety of fixes, fixing all kinds of problems, and meeting different people every day
You'll need:
12. A level 3 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
13. A minimum of 3 years practical experience as a vehicle technician in the motor trade working with different types of light vehicles
14. A full UK driving Licence with less than 6 points
