We’re recruiting a Compliance Manager to support our operation at McLaren in Woking, following the introduction of a new subsidy model and increased site activity. This newly created role plays a key part in strengthening Health & Safety, compliance governance, and profit protection across a busy, fast-paced environment.
Site Overview
McLaren has moved to a new subsidy model, reducing casual dining main meal prices. This has driven increased footfall, larger team numbers, and additional till equipment, making strong compliance oversight essential.
The Role
As Compliance Manager, you will support the site leadership team by ensuring all HSE and profit protection systems, processes, and controls are implemented, monitored, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities & Result Areas
* Contribute to and deliver HSE strategies, systems, and procedures at all levels of the operation
* Contribute to and deliver profit protection compliance, ensuring systems and procedures are robust and consistently followed
* Ensure operational teams are appropriately supported in the delivery of Health & Safety standards
* Maintain awareness of legislative and technical changes, sharing relevant updates with the site leadership team to ensure ongoing compliance
* Carry out regular reviews and audits of profit protection and HSE compliance with direct reports
* Complete daily PCI equipment checks, including tamper checks
* Conduct periodic compliance checks across personnel files, staff training, See Care Share, safety walks, H&S moments, and related documentation
* Monitor and track HSE calendar activities
* Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from the Account Director or client
* Support HSE and compliance improvement projects as required
About You
* Some experience or a strong understanding of Health & Safety and compliance
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a structured corporate environment
* Confident communicator with the ability to support and influence operational teams
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
