Support Worker – Get Out There (GOT) Group | Wythenshawe & Greater Manchester
Are you looking for a rewarding role that makes a real difference to children and young people? Join our Get Out There (GOT) Group; a community service that helps children and young people across Manchester and Trafford get out, explore, and thrive. No experience needed—just enthusiasm, empathy and a genuine desire to make a difference. From 4 hours per week offering £13.00 per hour. Primarily Saturdays, with occasional Sundays and evenings.
What you'll be doing
* Support young people at our Saturday Club in Wythenshawe and in the community across Manchester and Trafford.
* Encourage independence, develop communication skills and help them take part in a range of activities such as bowling, cinema, football, dance, parks, and more.
* Provide vital respite for families.
* Adapt to the unique needs of each person supported—no two shifts are the same.
What we're looking for
* Warm, patient and genuinely people‑focused.
* Positive and adaptable, ready for whatever the day brings.
* Possess a driving licence and access to your own vehicle (desirable).
* Knowledge of multi‑sensory impairments or BSL is a bonus, but not essential.
* Full training will be provided; no prior care experience required.
