We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our dedicated team for a maternity cover position, teaching Level 2 students from August 2026 to February 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners, working within a welcoming and collaborative Further Education environment. You will play a pivotal role in course leading, teaching, and possibly assessing, depending on your experience.
Responsibilities
* Leading and delivering engaging lessons for Level 2 Early Years students
* Providing pastoral support and guidance to learners throughout their studies
* Course leading and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
* (If applicable) Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback
Qualifications
* Experience teaching Level 2 Early Years courses within a Further Education setting
* A teaching and assessing qualification (or willingness to gain one)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to inspire and motivate students

Annual salary: Circa £30,000 - £42,000 FTE (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Part Time – 36.5 Hours – Fixed Term Contract until Feb 2027. (Maternity Cover.)
Start date: August 2026.
