Supreme Surface Treatment Engineering is a small, family‑run manufacturing company and a leading supplier to the anodising, electroplating, metal treatment, and powder‑coating industries. We specialise in bespoke jigs, racking systems, baskets, heaters, coils, and precision‑engineered components, using the latest CAD/CAM technologies to support customers across the aerospace, automotive, agriculture, and food industries.
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and complex blueprints
* Set, program and operate CNC machinery to meet production specifications
* Load and unload castings and raw materials safely
* Carry out quality inspections using appropriate measuring tools
* Complete work accurately with minimal supervision
* Maintain clear and accurate production notes and reports
* Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator
* Strong understanding of basic mathematics
* Ability to meet production targets and quality standards
* Confident working from technical drawings
* Good attention to detail and problem‑solving skills

Working Hours
* 40‑hour week (Day Shift)
* Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
* Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm

* £14.00 – £16.00 per hour depending on experience
* 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

* Overtime rates: x1.3 Monday–Friday, x1.5 Saturdays (if applicable)
